RIMS was established by Chris Fitzgerald, an ergonomist, in April 1993, and has been operating for 10 years.
In continuing to develop Risk and Injury Management Services Chris has sought to integrate services with new technologies and this has lead to the research and development of a number of OHS software applications and use of new technologies that are unique to the OHS industry.

The consulting activities we conduct are broad, ranging from specialist, one-off Early Interventions, such as Work Place Assessments, to more extensive, systems based programs in Injury Prevention, Hazard Control, Return to Work and Long Term Claims management.
In our consulting we take a whole-systems approach. We focus on the needs and behaviours of PEOPLE, in the context of their ENVIRONMENT and with consideration to the SYSTEMS, structures, processes and relationships that underpin work.
Our customers are from a wide range of industries such as Administration, Aviation, Community Services, Entertainment, Food Processing, Gaming, Government, Health, Hospitality, Insurance, Manufacturing, Radio and Television, Telecommunications, and Warehousing.
We are a registered provider of rehabillitation with State and National Government authorities in Australia and deliver nationally accredited training in Ergonomics.
